FENDER TORONADO DELUXE MIM 2001 Offset Guitar w/ Kahler Atomic Humbuckers 8403

Regular price $850.00

You're looking at a rare 2001 Fender Toronado Deluxe in Creamsicle Orange--with a Kahler tremolo on board. This is the earlier cooler looking Toro with the dual Atomic Humbucker pickups. Previous owner had the Kahler installed and it works great. Locking trem so you're always in tune. The orange Toronado's are the most sought after and hard to find. These are such cool looking guitars with the offset body and large tortoise shell pickguard. Body contour on back and rare Gibson scale length of 24.75 inches. The guitar has plenty of wear around the edges (see pics), but still looks really nice from the front. No case. Thanks for looking!

From Wikipedia

The Fender Toronado was an electric guitar made by Fender Musical Instruments Corporation. Introduced at NAMM in 1998, it is a part of the "Deluxe Series" of Fenders produced in Mexico, generally to higher specs than most "Standard" models. The Toronado features two Fender Atomic humbucking pickups, a rosewood fretboard, and four chrome knobs (2 volume and 2 tone). Many models also include a tortoise-shell pickguard. The headstock features the Fender "spaghetti" logo and sports vintage style Gotoh/Kluson tuners. The body shape shadows the designs of Fender's Jazzmaster and Jaguar guitars. The Toronado also has a 24.75" scale length—an unusual feature on a Fender guitar, as this scale length is usually associated with electric guitars manufactured by Gibson.
