This is a 2014 Brian May Signature Special LE in Jubilee Gold finish. Comes with all original accessories including factory gig bag, tremolo bar, guitar cable & Allen wrench. Features:
— Mahogany body & neck, ebony board
— All gold hardware—now out of production
— Excellent playing and cosmetic condition
This guitar is in super clean shape. Still has protective plastic on the pickups and pickguard. This was made a few years ago when they were still making them with all gold hardware. If you go to the Brian May website, you’ll see the Jubilee Gold now comes with chrome hardware. This is gold down to the pickguard screws, knobs, tuners, even tremolo bar. Only thing that’s not gold are the saddles. Only imperfections I can find are three super thin scuff marks on the edge (see pics). Otherwise it’s mint. Weight is 8 pounds, 12 ounces. Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
